_______________________________________________
1. Avoid using your wiper blades or driving in the rain for the first 48 hours after installation when possible. GT3+ can take as much as 7 days to fully cure. To speed up the curing process, we suggest leaving your vehicle in a dry, sunny environment. During the curing time, you may notice water spots or a slight distortion in the film - this is normal and will go away once fully cured.
2. When possible, keep the surface of ExoShield GT3+ clean and free of contaminants such as bird droppings, dirt, oil, sap, or other chemicals.
3. DO NOT pressure wash your windshield when ExoShield GT3+ is installed. Instead, simply wash your windshield gently with soap and water or use a touchless car wash regularly to keep it clean.
4. Take care of your wiper blades by gently wiping them with a damp microfiber cloth on a regular basis. This will ensure that you’re removing any trapped dirt or grit that can get stuck in the wiper blades and prematurely scratch the film.
5. Avoid using harsh chemicals to clean your windshield when GT3+ is installed. Stick to an ammonia-free (or tint-safe) glass cleaner and only use ExoShield-approved coatings. In some cases, adding a ceramic coating to the surface of GT3+ may help to extend its lifetime. We recommend discussing these options with your installer at the time of purchase.
7. If you start to notice severe scratching and haziness in the film at the end of the film’s usable life that is limiting your visibility, it’s important to remove ExoShield as soon as possible for your own safety.
